On June 28th Colavita New Mexico’s eastern race campaign began with the NRC Providence Crit. Dave Rendon, Garrett White, Ricahrd Protasiewicz and Steven Ballinger started out in the Category 2 field. Joshua Liberles, Jared Gyliard and Emiliano Jordan started the Pro 1 race.

The Pro1 field was controlled by the Colavita Pro Team as was the breakaway. The following video shot by one of the spectators illustrates the speed and difficulty of the course. Unfortunately as you can see in the video Jared was the victim of fallen riders in front of him and got the wind knocked out of him while he bruised some ribs and cut his elbow again.
