The Volvo S90 is arguably the most outstanding car in its class, looks absolutely stunning and has all the potential to stand out from the crowd. Obviously, the most striking and distinctive element of the S90 is the Thor Hammer LED headlights as they look very impressive. There is also the large grille with a vertical frame chrome-plated, which gives the exterior a lot of elegance and luxury. At the back, there are C-shaped LED taillights that look cool and unique.

We think Volvo is the best looking of the bunch but the others aren’t bad either. For example, the Genesis has a very distinctive charm and aura that is completely different from other European sedans. Its large grille combined with the set of split headlights looks completely different from the rest. In terms of sheer size, Volvo is the largest while Audi is the smallest.

Volvo S90 vs Genesis G80

The Genesis G80 is the latest entrant in the mid-size luxury sedan segment and it’s a very good offering. It undercuts the competition and is the cheapest while providing the highest numbers of power and performance. However, in terms of passenger space, comfort and safety, it is no match for the Volvo S90. Thus, we recommend a Volvo over a Genesis but if you want something that isn’t mainstream, the Genesis isn’t a bad buy.

Volvo s90 vs. Audi A6

Well, if you compare these cars in terms of luxury and equipment, then it is clear that Audi has the upper hand. In terms of overall cabin design and features, the Audi A6 feels superior to the Volvo S90. However, Volvo beats Audi in terms of massive space and safety equipment, and its prices are very low. Thus, our choice here in the competition will be Volvo simply because it is safer, more spacious and in our opinion looks better than Audi.

Volvo S90 vs BMW 530i

The only area where BMW outperforms Volvo is in terms of fuel economy. BMW’s driving dynamics have always been somewhat sporty while Volvo’s feel more practical. However, BMW is more expensive than Volvo and is also no match for the Swedish sedan in terms of safety and passenger space. Again, we think Volvo is a better car here but if you need a car that can deliver a dynamic and sporty driving experience, BMW is where you should put your money.
